Support My Music Program

I’m asking you to SUPPORT our high school music program! This year, Autumn and I are in the same music program and want to raise $2,000 for the program through the “Go Big!” Fundraiser — the music program’s largest fundraiser of the year!!!

The Mountlake Terrace High School music program is fundraising to support the jazz, concert band, and orchestra groups. In a time of budget cuts, these funds are essential to ensure all student musicians are provided the same opportunities to enhance their music experiences. Funds support the purchase of equipment, travel to performances, coaches, student scholarships, and clinics to expand their music knowledge.

Funds go to the Mountlake Terrace High School Music Boosters, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, that supports the music program. I’ve volunteered on the Music Boosters for 3.5 years as the Gig Coordinator and, more recently, Communications and Technology Coordinators, and can attest that funds are used wisely to support the kids, and broader music community in the school district.
